How can you be unbiased?
Because we are 100% reader-funded. We take no commission from estate agents, lawyers or relocation firms, and no comune can pay for a better score. We do carry a handful of travel affiliate links — a hotel booking may earn us a few euro — and that is the whole of it. If a town is a bad idea, nothing stops us saying so.
How does the consultation work?
One hour by video with our Italian and international experts — data, tax, visas and property. Book it whenever you are ready; it does not expire while your membership is live. Included with the yearly plan and Lifetime, but not with monthly billing.
Can I cancel?
In one click, from your account. Monthly stops at the end of the month, yearly at the end of the year — no call, no retention form, no notice period.
Do you give refunds?
No — and we would rather say so plainly. The free plan exists precisely so you can see what you are buying before you pay, and the monthly plan opens the whole thing for €13 if you want to test it properly. Cancel whenever you like; you keep access until the period you have paid for runs out.
Is VAT included?
Yes. The price you see is the price you pay — VAT is already included, wherever you are.
Why is monthly not much cheaper?
Because it is the same data. Twelve months at €13 is €156; the year is €149 and includes the consultation hour. Monthly exists for people who want to try a month, not as a worse deal in disguise.
What stays free, forever?
A limited set of 200+ town profiles, the Town Explorer, the map of Italy, selected audio guides, the weekly newsletter and a limited number of Magic AI discussions. No card and no expiry.
Is Lifetime really lifetime?
