7% Comuni fiscali in Puglia vicino al mare

Scopri alcune delle città fiscali 7% in Puglia: autentiche località balneari dove potrai godere di importanti agevolazioni fiscali e del vero fascino locale per un massimo di dieci anni.

Moving to a new country, dealing with bureaucratic paperwork, and most of all investing in a property comes with a cost. If you’re considering moving to Italy, particularly near the sea, but at the same time you want to save money and take advantage of some incentives, then this article is for you. Italy offers a flat 7% income tax rate for up to ten years if you relocate to a town with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants (all the technical details here).

So, if moving to Puglia has always been on your wish list, what could be better than combining tax savings with life in a beautiful, authentic town with easy access to the sea?

We’ve used our Town Explorer to identify some of the most interesting 7% tax towns in Puglia. These are less mainstream places, but absolutely authentic – towns where you can enjoy a grande stile di vita without crazy prices and just a few steps from the beach.

Cisternino (BR)

Cisternino is located in the heart of the Valle d’Itria, about halfway between Bari e Brindisi. With around 11,200 residents, it’s known as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. In fact, the historic center is a maze of narrow alleys, stone arches, and flower-filled balconies that really make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time.

Getting here is straightforward. Both Brindisi and Bari Airports are roughly an hour’s drive. Plus, the town is well connected to the A14 motorway, making it easy to explore the region.

The nearest beaches are Torre Canne and Rosa Marina, both about 20-25 minutes by car on the Adriatic coast. And for those who prefer exploring inland, you’re surrounded by some of Puglia’s most charming towns: Alberobello with its UNESCO trulli is just 15 minutes away, Ostuni (the “White City”) is 20 minutes, and Locorotondo e Martina Franca are within 10 minutes.

Properties average around €1,668 per square meter, so a 100 sqm home runs about €167,000.

Trinitapoli (BT)

Trinitapoli sits in northern Puglia, in the Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, and has around 14,500 residents.

The town is just a few kilometers from Margherita di Savoia, which is home to Europe’s largest salt flats. This area is famous because it turns stunning shades of pink at sunset and is home to thousands of pink flamingos and over 200 species of migratory birds. For this reason, there are lots of thermal spas nearby.

Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport is about 70 km away (roughly an hour’s drive), making it the most convenient airport for the region. And beyond the beaches and salt flats, you’re within easy reach of historic towns like Barletta (25 minutes), Trani (30 minutes), and Andria (35 minutes).

Properties average around €949 per square meter, making this one of the most affordable options. A 100 sqm house would cost roughly €94,900, which is significantly less than most coastal areas in Puglia.

Capurso (BA)

Just 10 kilometers southeast of Bari, there’s Capurso, a small town of about 15,300 residents.

Capurso is primarily known locally for the Sanctuary of Madonna del Pozzo, an important pilgrimage site. But what makes it interesting is its strategic position, as you get the affordability of a small town while being minutes away from Bari and its airport, which is just 15-20 minutes away.

For beaches, you have several options nearby, included Polignano a Mare (30 minutes) and Monopoli (35 minutes). The location also means you can easily visit the Valle d’Itria (Alberobello is 40 minutes away) or take a day trip to Matera, in Basilicata, which is famous for its ancient cave dwellings.

Properties here average around €1,372 per square meter, putting a 100 sqm home at roughly €137,200. You’re paying slightly more than the previous options, but you’re getting unbeatable proximity to Bari and the airport while still qualifying for the tax benefit.

Tricase (LE)

Tricase sits in the heart of the Salento peninsula, about 53 km south of Lecce, and has nearly 18,000 residents. This area is perfect for those who want a quiet place away from the busier Salento beaches. It’s located in a protected area, so you’ll find plenty of sentieri escursionistici to explore while still being close to the coast.

You’re ideally positioned to explore the southern tip of Puglia: Santa Maria di Leuca is just 20 minutes south, Castro with its caves and medieval castle is 15 minutes north, Otranto is 25 minutes away, and Gallipoli, with its lively beaches, is 35 minutes to the west.

Brindisi Salento Airport is about 1 hour and 16 minutes away by car. While this is the furthest airport distance on our list, the payoff is living in a beautiful and less crowded area. Plus, it’s the most affordable option we’ve found, as properties average around €935 per square meter (about €93,500 for a 100 sqm house).

Pulsano (TA)

Pulsano, with around 11,000 residents, sits on the Ionian coast about 20 km south of Taranto. Its marina, Marina di Pulsano, stretches for 8 kilometers along what some locals call the “Maldives of Puglia” thanks to its Caribbean-like waters.

The beaches here are particularly good for families, with shallow, sandy seabeds. Lido Silvana and Montedarena are the most popular ones, offering both free public areas and well-equipped private beach clubs.

Entrambi Aeroporti di Bari e Brindisi are about an hour’s drive. Beyond the beaches, you’re well positioned to explore both the Ionian coast and the interior. In 20-30 minutes, you can reach Taranto e Grottaglie (Italy’s ceramics capital), where you can visit workshops and buy beautiful handmade pottery. The Valle d’Itria is also within easy reach – Martina Franca e Locorotondo are about 40 minutes away.

Property prices here are average, around €1,084 per square meter (about €108,400 for a 100 sqm house).
