I’m writing this from a tiny cove near Golfo Aranci, in Sardinia – an island I love deeply. I’ve spent the last few days working from here, laptop balanced on my knees, and I kept asking myself the same question: why does nobody talk about Sardinia as a place to work remotely? Everyone talks about Sicily, or Puglia, but Sardinia barely comes up. I’ve been here plenty of times before, so I wanted to share what I’ve learned, and point you toward a few towns worth considering if you’re thinking about doing the same. Who Sardinia actually works for Sardinia changes a lot depending on where you are. The north is the more touristy half, the south is a bit wilder. I’ve mostly stayed in the centre-north and north, and “well-known” doesn’t mean “skip it” here – that’s actually one of the things I love most about the island. You can be on a beach everybody’s heard of, walk fifteen or twenty minutes, and end up on a completely untouched cove with nobody but you and the sea.
