One of the first things people think about when moving to Italy is airport access. No one wants to fall in love with a town only to realize that getting in and out of the country takes half a day and two connections. The problem is that being close to an airport and actually wanting to live somewhere don’t always go together. Add to that the fact that most people looking to live in Sicily are also chasing the coast, and the list of places that tick all three boxes gets short pretty fast. So we ran the search on our Town Explorer and came up with five towns that we think genuinely work – good airport access, livable year-round, and close enough to the sea.
